Google Play Billing Library: Data safety form answers

If your Android app includes Google Play Billing Library from Google, its data counts as data your app collects. What it collects depends on how you use it, so each data type below has a condition.

Matched dependencies: com.android.billingclient:billing.

Data type When Collected Shared Purposes
Purchase history If the app or its backend stores or verifies purchases (tokens, order IDs) off-device Yes No App functionality

The skill lists these under Needs your review and checks the code for the condition (for example a setUserId call) before you include them.

No vendor Play disclosure page for the Billing Library was found. Google’s Data safety help says payment data collected directly by the payment service (and never accessed by your app) need not be declared, but purchase history your app or backend receives should be reviewed. Declare purchase history if you send purchase tokens or orders off-device.

data-safety-from-code finds Google Play Billing Library in your build.gradle or version catalog, adds these answers with a link to the source, and merges them with every other SDK and with what your own code sends. You get a CSV to import and a report showing where each answer comes from.
